1:1 Redundancy Switches – Companion products to our Satellite Modems. Their purpose is to continuously monitor a pair of modems in a redundant configuration, so that the unit automatically switches data and IF signals from the failed unit to the standby unit if an equipment failure or undesired traffic condition occurs.
1:N Redundancy Switches –Provide fully automatic or manual protection of traffic circuits in the case of equipment failure. They are primarily intended for hub applications, and are compatible with a variety of Comtech EF Data Satellite Modems. The protection system consists of traffic modems, a redundant modem and a redundancy switch. Optional IF switches are available for multiple transponders or multiple satellite applications.
ICS-75 Combiner Shelf – Consists of four IF combiners and four IF splitters built into the same chassis. Operating in the IF frequency range of 50 to 180 MHz, the ICS-75 organizes the mass of cables and individual splitter/combiners usually associated with earth station IF racks into one convenient package.
CiM-25 IP-Enabled Monitor & Control – Low-cost solution for providing an Internet Protocol (IP) Monitor & Control (M&C) interface for existing Comtech EF Data satellite modems and frequency converters. The CiM-25 provides a proxy interface between IP and the equipment’s existing serial remote control interface.
EQ-90 Group Delay/Amplitude Equalizers – Used in satellite transmit/receive terminals to compensate for non-linear delay distortions and amplitude slope generated by the satellite, filters, waveguide, or inter-facility links. Fully compliant with Domsat and Intelsat/CCIR standards, these units interface readily with the uplink/downlink chain. |
